For those of you who are interested here is a page about the gear we use at Richer Sea Photography.

I personally shoot using Canon cameras, but a number of our freelancers use Nikon equipment.  My Canon set-up is based on Canon's latest 7D body.  I have lenses from 70-200 to 17-55.  Shooting sports and social events I rarely have need of anything longer than 200mm with a x1.4 convertor on the body I use.  For indoor social events I use a range of f/2.8 zoom lenses, as well as a selection of f/1.4 or f/1.8 prime lenses.

Our mobile studio uses lights from Elinchrom, and our on-site network uses Aztech and Engenius networking equipment, Western Digital hard drives and Fujitsu and ASUS laptops.  Our on-site server PC is custom built to be robust, light and quiet, but still have enough power for any application we need it for.

My bags are all Think Tank, and for water sports I use several hard Pelican cases.

The typical contents of my bag for an outdoor sports shoot would be:Bag.jpg
