Why Us?
We are not the same of most sports photographers. We don't spend our time shooting team shots, or sitting on the sidelines of pitches, although we can. We specialise in sports most people can't cover, whether they be on the water, in wild country, at night, or at times of the year most sensible people would be indoors!
While we're at it, we are experts in fast image turn-rounds, and can have advertising images on the web while we're still shooting at your event, while simultaneously offering a fantastic range of unique products to your competitors.
Watersports and Sailing
Richer Sea photography can attend large sailing events for free. We can shoot for free and provide web galleries for competitors to view and purchase images from. We will always provide clubs and classes that invite us to their events with some images to use for advertising at no extra cost.
Being sailing instructors and experienced racing sailors is a tremendous advantage when trying to get good images of sailing events. With an extensive knowledge of the sport we can predict where boats will be, and where the action will happen that will make great photographs.

Always aiming to be where the action is applies off the water as well, meaning a complete record of an event involves getting shots of people rigging up, launching their boats, and relaxing in the bar at the end of the day. That’s a lot of what makes different venues different, and these are often the images event organisers can use as future marketing.
As powerboat and safety boat drivers we completely understand that the boat a sailing club or event provides to get us on the water may well be a safety boat first and a photography platform second. When afloat we are always happy to help out with whatever the boat crew are doing, be it mark laying or providing safety cover.
